Glutathione via IV insertion

Injectible Glutathione?

Glutathione can also be taken through intravenous (IV) insertion. Usually, people prefer taking glutathione via IV since the effect is faster as compared to the oral glutathione. According to the users, the whitening effect can usually be observed after 2 weeks. The efficacy is also increased when it is combined with vitamin C. The combination of vitamin C and glutathione enhances your immunity, reduces tiredness, and gives more youthful, radiant skin.

How is it administered?

It is given intravenously in the arm by IV push over 10 to 15 minutes usually three times a week.

Beware: Make sure you buy genuine glutathione products!!!

I read that using IV Gluatathione makes the receptors in your brain more sensitive to dopamine. Would that mean that people taking anti-depressants that effect dopamine levels should not do this therapy?

Thanks for the information, I really love your blog. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for visiting Len! Glad to hear that. :)

Fae, thanks for visiting. Anyway, regarding IV Glutathione and its effect on dopamine, I haven't read much about it. Are there any journals that support that? If so, I will try to research for it and I will keep you updated. :)

Hi. Just read in site on the use of glutathione for treatment of Parkinson's disease that glutathione does not raise the level of dopamine in the body but only enhances or increases the receptors of dopamine in the brain. I am not sure though how glutathione will interact with anti-depressants. :-)

hi there, doc in pink! im interested in using gluta iv however, im more concerned about safety. what are the side effects so prevention can be immediately countered? im white but i wanted a very good skin especially on my face which bears pimple marks on some parts of the cheeks. while, it's not that bad still, i want a good skin. im doing refine now c/o flawless & i just finished my 3rd session. how often should this be injected? are there tests i have to undergo if only to make sure everything's A-ok with me prior to injection. thank u so much. more power! hendrice

Hi there hendrice. thanks for the visit. :) regarding your inquiry, I am still a medical student, plus the fact I am not your dermatologist, that's why I am in no position to diagnose or to tell you the dosages you need. It is still best to consult your physician because he/she knows your full history and thus knows your case best. Don't hesitate to ask her/him anything that's bothering you. For the side effects, are you referring to the side effects of glutathione alone or the IV? Whitening is the side effect of glutathione. You might want to read one of my posts here. And there are a lot of glutathione articles all over the internet, too. Regarding the IV, adverse reactions would be pain and inflammation on the injected site, but of course, it is a case to case basis. Hope that helps. :)

By the way hendrice, I have no idea what refine c/o flawless does. I am not familiar with their services. Anyway, glutathione isn't actually made for whitening. It is an anti-oxidant, but it's side effects (as observed by its users) is whitening. So the dosage/sessions should really depend on your skin color. Glutathione's efficacy will also improve when it is taken with vitamin C. However, if your problem is mainly on the dark spots, you might want to use whitening creams and apply it on the spots? Then take vitamins such as Vitamin A, C and E. These vitamins are good for your skin. Because glutathione is quite expensive if you really want to see a satisfying result. :)

Has anybidy here tried the Gluta IV, does it really work. I am starting just now, can I just use it once a week instead?

And also can you recommend a store that I can order Gluta IV. Im looking at magic-potions.com, they have office at Makati. I was wondering what their reputation about their products. Otherwise do u know any place where I can order them? TY

i read from an online medical interview that when you mix glutathione iv with vitamin c it oxidizes the glutathione and shouldn't be done. it should only be mixed with plain nss. this got me confused as common knowledge dictates that glutathione is normally mixed with vitamin c for it to be more effective. can you shed light on this matter?

in having my gluta session right now (3rd dose)6 sessions, once per week. Im using tationil 600mg plus an oral gluta maintenance. I have lots of scars (hyperpimenting)that's why my derma told me to use gluta since its effect is systemic. I hope everything goes well, my scars are too annoying and really pulling down my self esteem. whew.
